The Gold Checking account is designed for credit union members 50 years of age and older.
Why doesn’t this account earn dividends?
Excess funds can be deposited into any of our interest-bearing accounts and then transferred into your checking account when needed.
I already have a checking account elsewhere. Isn’t it hard to switch?
We will assist you in transferring your account, including any direct deposits or automatic vendor payments.
What if I don’t live near a branch?
You can access your account at any of our branch locations, over the phone, Emmy Kay, Home Banking or VISA® Check Card.
Minimum balance to open – The minimum balance required to open this account is $100.00.
Minimum balance to avoid fee – No minimum monthly balance required.
Addition limitations - You may make unlimited additions into your account.
Bylaw requirements – You must complete payment of one share into your Share account(s) as a condition of admission to membership. The par value of a share is $5.00.
Balance requirements – If within six months of admission to membership or increase in the par value your balance falls below the par value of one share and you do not increase the balance to at least the par value of one share within six months of the reduction, you may be terminated from membership.
National Credit Union Administration Insurance – This credit union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration.
